Fiona is a Northern Irish contemporary artist, who explores the relationship between
place and memory within the setting of rural Ireland.

Growing up, we were never far from forest trails or streams. My sister and I would spend many summers walking through a nearby forest, which was blanketed with bluebells. Many of these memories have found their way into my work.

In late May, we had one decent week of sun here, so I decided to get my sketchbook out and capture the garden before the rain came.
