How nature influences my work

Here, the landscape is never really still. Even with never ending rain, there is a lot to be inspired by. I love the mist on the mountains or the colour of barley in the fields, although, I could do without barley guns; barley guns can go in the bin!

Growing up, we were never far from forest trails or streams. My sister and I would spend many summers walking through a nearby forest, which was blanketed with bluebells. Many of these memories have found their way into my work.

Yes, that is a massive fir tree outside my window! Most people hate how it blocks the light, but I love the way the branches fracture it.
